Maryann Didriksen is a New Jersey artist working primarily in pastel. She is drawn to graphic images of color and form in accidental still lives and natural landscapes that change with the shifting of light. Before recently returning to painting full-time, Maryann worked as an Art Director and freelance graphic designer. Trained in both fine and commercial art, Maryann holds a BFA from Alfred University and is currently studying with landscape painter Julie Friedman. She lives in Rockaway Township, New Jersey with her husband, two sons and dog Jamie.
