REPETITION AND REFLECTION Watercolor The Covid-19 pandemic is affecting all of our lives. During the quarantine I spent a lot of time in my studio trying to make work about the pandemic. I painted accumulation, confusion, clusters, barriers and repetition. I painted my emotions as meditation and reflection.- trying to stay out of the way, maintain balance and let it flow.
THE MEMORY PROJECT These pieces are about collecting and preserving the memories of today where social media and the frenetic pace of women’s lives becomes part of the process as they try to organize and keep the history of their families.
